"Just to say- you’ve played another key role in my postnatal recovery journey and management steps for the future. I’m grateful and I’ll be in touch if needed in the future and let you know what the GP says." Nov 2024
" I first came to see Shelley after the birth of my first child in 2022 for a ‘Mummy MOT’. The six week check from the GP was very basic and I felt I wanted a more thorough check of my pelvic floor and stomach muscles and for peace of mind regarding returning to exercise safely. Shelley took the time to really listen to my birth and postnatal experience and answered all the questions I had regarding my pelvic health.
After the birth of my second child this year I returned to Shelley as after another difficult birth, I was this time, experiencing more pronounced issues with my pelvic floor. Again, Shelley was very thorough in her assessment and recommendations. I saw Shelley for several follow up sessions as I carried out the assessment exercises and recommendations she made at home. Within a couple of months my symptoms had reduced dramatically and I was back to exercising normally and running twice a week again. I am so grateful to Shelley for her support and expertise which have enabled me to feel strong again and not so worried about my pelvic floor health. Shelley is very professional, discreet and empathetic and I highly recommend her if you have recently had a baby and want to make sure your pelvic floor and stomach muscles are being supported postpartum." "My first visit to Shelley was when I was 8 weeks postpartum. I was looking forward to getting back to the exercise I enjoyed before pregnancy (running and functional workouts) but I knew birth had taken a toll on my body. After the initial assessment I was gutted to find out that my pelvic floor was very weak and Shelley advised me I should only be walking and doing my daily squeezy exercises. It was a very long journey over several months (9 months to be exact) but I got the full sign off to resume pre-pregnancy exercise. It was quite the journey to get to this point, filled with frustration at times when I wasn't progressing but Shelley never gave up and kept me motivated to continue with my exercises. I cannot recommend seeing Shelley enough! I'm now training for my first half marathon which a year ago I couldn't even fathom!"

"I went to Shelley around 13months post partum with some worry about separation. I also booked in for a pelvic floor assessment. Shelley was so brilliant and made me feel at ease. She was very supportive of my current exercise regime and wanted to help me work around my future goals. I was worried she was going to tell me I needed to stop running - but it was quite the opposite. She was brilliant at explaining what she could feel and see which gave me a great understanding of what I was working with.
The pelvic floor assessment was painless, discreet yet in my opinion vital after having a baby. Shelley was very professional and made the experience easy.
I would certainly recommend Shelley she has a great understanding of the female body and all it goes through. I have been given exercises to help my rehabilitation further and left feeling much happier about myself. Thank you.
Thanks so much Shelley you have been brilliant. I’m glad I booked to see you. If I ever need to I will be in touch!"

"I really cannot recommend Shelley enough. I have suffered from chronic pelvic pain and pain with intercourse for many years due to endometriosis, and had never been able to find much relief through treatments offered on the NHS (or was told I would just have to learn to live with my symptoms). I learnt about pelvic floor physio after having some surgery for my endo, and reached out to Shelley. She is so kind, understanding and professional, and really puts you at ease. She created a treatment plan that works for me and a maintenance plan I can actually stick to! I still get flare ups of pain, but now I feel like I understand so much more about why these happen, and I have the tools I need to to get them under control so they don't impact on my day to day life. I no longer plan my days around my pelvic pain flare ups which would have been unthinkable 5 years ago - I've even started jogging! I cannot overstate just how much pelvic floor physio has improved my quality of life. Thank you, Shelley!!"

"Shelley was great at helping me return to exercise and running postpartum after having a weak pelvic floor. She made me feel really comfortable and was reassuring throughout the process and was so good with my baby when I had to bring him along. I have recommended her to other new mums and am thrilled that I am now back to running and exercising regularly.
Thanks again for everything, so far so good (fingers crossed). I did my first 10k at the weekend which felt great 😊"

"From the moment I contacted Shelley through to our appointments I was always met with nothing but kindness and professionalism.
I reached out to Shelley during one of the hardest moments of my life to date. I was 3 months postpartum after a traumatic birth experience resulting in an emergency C section. I was barely able to walk without being in constant pain when I first saw Shelly.
After working closely with Shelley to build a bespoke recovery plan I managed to successfully recover and rid myself of the pain I had been experiencing prior to meeting Shelly. I can now go for a walk with my baby without being in pain. I have begun exercising again and I can do day to day tasks that I couldn’t have ever dreamed of doing before I met Shelley.
Throughout all of our sessions, Shelley always made me feel comfortable and calm. Seeing a woman's physio post birth can be daunting and you do not know what to expect but Shelley made me feel nothing but relaxed and at ease.
I cannot speak highly enough about the service Shelly offers and I can honestly say she is the reason I have recovered and I would not be where I am today without the help and support she gave me."

"Visited Shelley with a prolapsed bladder. Gave several very helpful suggestions. Would recommend to anyone in need of help"
Aug 2023
" I found Shelley when I had pelvic floor issues after the birth of my first child. She was fantastic at putting me at ease, and explained really clearly the exercises I needed to do to make improvements. I saw her again following the birth of my second child who was born via C-section, and Shelley was really helpful with scar massage tips as well as continued guidance for my pelvic floor disfunction. My pelvic floor is now much stronger, I am less symptomatic and feel very positive about the future. I have already recommended Shelley to a few friends who have recently had children. "

‘I went to see Shelley to help with a bladder prolapse and general pelvic floor strengthening after the birth of my second child. She was fantastic! She always made me feel comfortable and was very positive and supportive throughout our sessions. With her professional help and encouragement I saw results over the following months and she has helped me implement an achievable exercise routine going forwards. I would highly recommend her.’

"I came across Shelley via the Squeezy app as I knew something wasn’t right postpartum (beyond the 12week GP check) and given how slow the NHS are, I decided to go privately. I’m so glad I came across her, she is welcoming, extremely knowledgable and makes you feel at ease. Even when balancing bringing a baby alongside me! I would happily recommend her service to anyone and can’t recommend her highly enough or thank her enough for the change I’ve now seen in my life feeling symptom free." January 2023
"After 2 caesarians and umbilical hernia surgery I was keen to regain my core strength. There are very few specialist women health physios and Shelley immediately put me at ease, demonstrating her understanding of the issues and helped focus my recovery with progressive exercises to practise at home. After three sessions over a 6 month period I have been armed with a good variety of exercises that are focussed on what I want to improve upon and achieve; it is a very personalised programme. Thanks for all of your help and I hope many other women benefit from your expertise." October 2022
"I cannot recommend Shelley highly enough. I was keen to get back into running following the birth of my third but also knew I needed to do it safely. The first appointment was so thorough and encompassed assessment of so much more than just pelvic floor and diastasis. I then had a plan with exercises for how to get back to fitness for running. I had two further appointments with assessments and each time my exercises were altered to push further. After the third appointment Shelley gave me the green light to start running. I have done a graded return with no symptoms. In many countries pelvic physio after birth is standard care and should be here. This is so so important for women to help prevent problems now and into the future. Thank you so much Shelley." July 2022
"I came to Shelley having suffered from bladder pain for over a year and having exhausted my options with NHS treatment. At the time of my first appointment, I was feeling incredibly defeated and pessimistic about my condition, feeling that nothing was working. Shelley took time to carefully listen to my medical history (and my frustrations!). She explained each step of her process and my treatment plan. In the few months of working with Shelley, my condition has improved greatly, and I’m now able to go most days with little thought of my bladder pain. Not only have my symptoms improved, but my mental outlook too. With NHS treatment, I felt at the mercy of my bladder and of what the NHS could offer. With pelvic floor physio, I’ve felt re-empowered. Deciding to call Shelley was the best decision I made for my bladder health. The entire experience has been extremely positive, from discovering pelvic floor physio, to working with Shelley, and improving my physical and mental health.
Thank you, Shelley!
All the very best things, V". January 2022
"I'm so pleased I came to see you, you really allayed my fears. I can't thank you enough for your advice. I rang the doc and she actually saw me and yes, she prescribed Ovestin cream which is just marvellous" November 2021
“When I first approached Shelley for treatment I had been suffering with pelvic and lower back pain for a number of years following surgery. I had previously sought help from a number of health professionals but with little improvement. Shelley listened attentively and came up with a plan that included stretching and strengthening exercises. The result has been hugely positive. I am now pretty much pain free and able to enjoy all the outdoor sports that I love.” June 2021
"Thankyou so much for all your help and support this year. I'm a changed woman! All thanks to you." December 2020
